ACTUAL PROGRAMS

1. The help to the groups of men at the rail road stations, in the steam heat line channels through hands of “ street workers “ force.

The Alter Ego Society has on board program of care and support through street work force groups of homeless inhabitants of rail road stations, recreation gardens, steam heat channels etc.

The program aims to reach these groups above with wide range of social-economic help. The next step seen shall encourage or motivate of begin anti -addiction therapy.

At the same time the information and education program works on; these do give to the homeless  the very basic data on rights to medical aid and rights to other forms of help the state provided. These participating in program may expect of support in explanation of  the legal matters, issue of personal ID’s, the legal advisory. The last step of the program these who do declare willingness to change way of life and life conditions shall find the place in the stationary help house, where can give it a try to participate in the leave the homelessness program.
 

2. The day care to the homeless and the poorest.

The Alter Ego Society does work on creation of the network of spots of daily care spots. This aims to the support and first aid in goods and articles to the homeless and poorest in areas of work. Free food and articles of basic needs will be provided.

Until now two such spots exist. One in Warsaw, the other in Legnica. Aimed is next in the town of Belchatow.
